Oliver Croy and Oliver Elser
- Oliver Croy (artist) and Oliver Elser (architect critic) assembled together for this years biennale 347 model houses made by little know insurance clerk Peter Fritz. Croy found these creations (made from everyday materials) at a junk shop in Austria all individually wrapped in their own garbage bag.
- To me this presentation is far more about the littler known insurance clerk Peter Fritz than anything else in this display of miniature houses. He must have had quite a passion for model building but apparently never cared to show these creations to anyone but himself. the simple fact that he was reclusive about his art shows a pattern among many other artist brought to the Biennale by curator Massimiliano Gioni.
