Morton Bartlett
- Bartlett, born 1909 in Chicago and died in 1992 in Boston. Bartlett studied for two years at Harvard University dropping out due to financial issues. He worked as a freelance photographer and graphic designer for most of his life. At some point during his life he began making anatomically correct prepubescent dolls and developed a hobby, dressing them up in homemade clothing and photographing them in different positions and situation many times without clothes.
- Upon seeing these dolls in person I was struck with a profound feeling of disgust and do not believe Bartlett fits the introverted artist archetype that Gioni seemed to have collected together and exhibited in this years Biennale.
