• Carl Gustav Jung, psychotherapist, philosopher, and perhaps one of the most brilliant minds of the modern era. In addition to being the originator of analytical psychology, who coined now-ubiquitous therapeutic terminology and originated dream analysis and dream-based therapy, used his own dream exploration and “vision quests” to create dramatically symbolic art in an attempt to unlock the depths of his own psyche.
• I found Psychiatrist Carl Jung to not of only have been a brilliant doctor and Psychoanalyst but a highly creative and talented artist. Within the Central Pavilion hundreds of is illustrations were exhibited. they seemed to show a window into Jung's subconscious, each illustration labeled in medieval calligraphy describing a dream or mystic revelation.
