John DeAndrea 

• John DeAndrea and American Born artist from Colorado. He earned His B.F.A. at University of Colorado at Boulder. DeAndrea's art is consider to be hyper-realism or photo-realism. He is a sculptor who primarily uses life casting of his models in polyvinyl and polychromed  bronze.
• At the Biennale I had the opportunity to see one of his polychromed bronze casts of the human figure. This particular figure being a female nude finished in the most accurate of detail. I saw in this sculpture a combination of movement and emotion the sculpture itself looking somewhat off balance, suggesting a strong emotional reaction to some unknown news.
